Recurring Programming

Have Elytra Education visit your school on a recurring schedule! We offer programming weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Please contact for pricing. Our programs include:

  • Pop-up Play Room. Have us visit your school and set up our awesome collection of activities/stations for preschoolers, all about bugs! We can have up to 20 students at a time. $150 for two hours, with each additional hour being $50. Our stations include our Traveling Zoo (observe live insects), Insect Dress Up (insect-themed toddler costumes), Light Play (explore insects with a light table), Buggy Book Nook (a quiet tent stocked with our bug library), and Open Bug Play (discover our big collection of insect toys)
  • Bug of the Month. Each month we will cover a new and amazing arthropod, from spiders to mosquitoes to dragonflies. Every visit will include a 30 minute presentation where students will learn about where to find this month’s bug, photos of the bug in their habitats, what roles they play in their environment, and real specimens (alive or preserved).
  • Classroom Crafts. Let us run an age-appropriate insect-themed art activity for your class. We provide the supplies, set up and clean up - and of course, your students can keep their art!
  • Buggy Storytime . 30 minute bug-themed story time. Read stories with us from around the world about bugs with large stuffed versions of the characters, and real specimens from these stories. Great for science sections!

We even schedule 20-minute Zoom interviews for Science Fair or other school projects that your kids have that are bug related.
